Cyndi Buchheit-Courtway has unofficially come out on top in the Republican primary for Missouri State Representative in the 115th District.

Buchheit-Courtway defeated Marvin Fricke and Ryan Jones with 2,399 votes.

She says she’s honored to serve her fellow citizens.

Buchheit-Courtway says her team did all it could be visible to voters.

Buchheit-Courtway is not done just yet.

She will have an opponent in the November general election in Democratic candidate Cynthia Nugent.

And she says focusing on the issues is how she plans to win.

Either Buchheit-Courtway or Nugent will replace Elaine Gannon of DeSoto, who will be taking a state Senate seat after winning the primary.
