COVID-19 Affects the Rodeo Industry

The coronavirus has pretty much affected all businesses and activities across the globe. It has even affected the rodeo industry. That’s according to Todd Wood with Chalk Bluff Rodeo Company out of Dexter.

Upcoming rodeos nearby include the St. Francois County Regional P.R.C.A. Rodeo August 7th and 8th at the fairgrounds in Farmington. There’s the IPRA/MCRA Arcadia Valley Lions Club Rodeo in Ironton August 14th and 15th, the IPRA/MCRA Salem Chamber of Commerce Rodeo September 5th and 6th and the Ozark Trail Blazers Rodeo near Steelville September 11th and 12th. Also, the Jefferson County Rodeo in Hillsboro was postponed because of the pandemic and it is supposed to be rescheduled for sometime in the fall.
