Covid-19 vaccines coming to 1st responders soon

(Festus, Crystal City) The Covid-19 vaccine continues to make its way to area hospital personnel as well as workers and residents at long-term care facilities. When will the next set be ready for members of law enforcement, EMS personnel, firefighters, and other first responders? Joachim Plattin Ambulance Administrator Curt Steuve says it’s not too far away.

Steuve says his department has had positive Covid-19 cases among the staff….but not all at once.

Steuve says JPAD has continued to take the proper precautions in terms of cleaning and sanitizing their equipment and vehicles, and they still have a good supply of PPE’s.
