COVID In 2022

(Farmington) COVID-19 was the story of the year when it comes to the news. First it was a spike in cases and rising death totals. Then it was the Delta Variant and now Omicrom Variant. Scott Kirkley is a doctor at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, which is part of the BJC group. He says looking ahead, how we overcome this pandemic is up to us to some degree.

The latest numbers show there have been nearly five and a half million deaths worldwide because of the virus. Over 730,000 people have died in the United States and Missouri is closing in on 16 thousand deaths because of COVID.
