COVID Interrupts The Mizzou Basketball Program

(Columbia) The Missouri Tiger basketball team opened SEC play last week with a loss to the top-20 ranked Kentucky Wildcats 83-56. Head coach Cuonzo Martin missed the game after testing positive for COVID-19 so his assistants had to fill in for him.

The virus continues to disrupt the team. Mizzou had to cancel their game Wednesday versus Mississippi State “due to a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the program.”

The 6-7 Tigers turn their heads to #15 Alabama this Saturday. Martin tells us what makes the Crimson Tide so dangerous.

Tipoff between Mizzou and Alabama this Saturday afternoon is scheduled for 2:30 from Mizzou Arena in Columbia. The game can be heard on AM-800 KREI and AM-1400 KJFF.

You can listen to Tiger Talk on KREI and KJFF every Monday night from 7 until 8.
