Covid numbers continue to get better in Jefferson County

(Hillsboro) Jefferson County positive Covid-19 cases continue to improve. Last week’s updated numbers included encouraging numbers according to Jefferson County Health Department Director Kelley Vollmar.

The US Food and Drug Administration just approved Pfizer’s vaccine for kids ages 5 to 11.

Vollmar says while cases among 12 to 18-year-olds have been declining, the numbers for the younger kids have been rising over the last several months.
