Crash in Dent County Leaves Salem Man with Serious Injuries

(Salem) A man from Salem received serious injuries following a pickup truck crash this afternoon in Dent County.
The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 32, four miles west of Salem when a Ford F-150 driven by 59-year-old Harvey Carter ran off the road, struck a sign, a fence and a tree.
Carter was flown to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.
He was not wearing a seat belt.
