Crawford County Bridge to be Closed to Traffic Starting Tuesday

(Bourbon) The Missouri Department of Transportation says a Crawford County road will be closed for the next several months for a bridge replacement project.

The Route ‘C’ bridge over the Little Bourbeuse River, located west of Bourbon, has reached the point where replacement is necessary.

Starting Tuesday, crews will begin removing the existing bridge to replace it with a new structure.

Route ‘C’ will be closed to traffic at the bridge for up to three months during construction.

The work is expected to be finished by the end of August.

Motorists will need to use Highway 19 between Cuba and Route ‘C’ and I-44 between Cuba and Bourbon as a detour route during construction.
