Crawford County has First Coronavirus-Related Death

(Steelville) You can now add Crawford County to the Covid-19 death count for our listening area.

According to the Missouri Covid-19 Dashboard, the county recently reported it’s first death but no information has been released about the victim.

Crawford County now has 146 confirmed cases of Covid-19.

That’s a big jump in cases for the county.

Back on August 9th, there were only 71 cases, so the number has more than doubled in just two weeks.

As for other counties with deaths because of Covid-19, Jefferson County has 30, Franklin County 19, Cape Girardeau County has 6 deaths, Perry and St. Francois have 4 deaths each while Bollinger, Crawford, Ste. Genevieve, Shannon and Washington counties have one death each.
