Crawford County Man Arrested for Threatening Circuit Court Judges’ Office

(Steelville) A man from Cuba, Missouri has been arrested for allegedly threatening a judge and others related to that office in Crawford County.

31-year-old Faron Fulliam was arrested last Friday in Cuba and he has been charged with felony tampering with a judicial officer and the felony of first degree harassment.

A news release from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department says deputies received information last Thursday that a credible threat had been made by Fulliam to the staff of the 42nd Circuit Judicial Court, including judges and other personnel.

Because of the threat, additional security had to be provided last Friday at the courthouse in Steelville.

Fulliam is being held without bond in the Crawford County Jail.

He will have a bond hearing next Tuesday and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, February 22nd.

The original judge in this case had to recuse themselves because of an obvious conflict of interest.

Judge Colin Long will now preside over Fulliam’s court proceedings.
