A Crawford County woman is facing criminal charges after allegedly shooting a gun towards a couple of people who were apparently walking near her property. 56-year-old Lisa Boston, who lives off Crawford County Road 3580 between Cook Station and St. James just southwest of the Woods Memorial Conservation Area, has been charged with five felonies…two counts of armed criminal action, two counts of first degree assault and one count of unlawful use of a weapon under subsection 4 for exhibiting. A report says the incident took place December 3rd after two individuals, apparently walking near Boston’s property, called the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, claiming Boston fired at least four rounds at them with a black revolver. Boston claimed she had shot at the ground. When a deputy showed up at Boston’s residence, reports say she opened a window and told the deputy to leave. She then closed the window and the blinds. A search warrant was acquired and served on Tuesday and Boston’s property was searched where two handguns were found and that’s when Boston was taken into custody. As of right now, there is no initial court date set for Lisa Boston.
