Crystal City Cross Country Preview
(CRYSTAL CITY)    The numbers for the Crystal City High School cross country program are down this year but head Coach Ken Jones is keeping a positive approach.  Jones says Crystal City didn’t have any girls come out for cross country this year which he says is very unusual.  Jones believes the program will rebound.

According to Jones, there are only two boys out for the varsity squad, Nate DeClue and Matt Sheets.  De Clue had success last year as a freshman and Jones says he is developing as a runner.

Jones says sheets has been putting in some good workouts.

Jones says the first cross country meet for Crystal City will be August 30th at the St. Vincent Invitational.
