Crystal City Football Could Be Leaving I-55 Conference

(CRYSTAL CITY) There is some potential that the Crystal City football team will not be a part of the I-55 Conference in 2020. Crystal City Superintendent Dr. Steven Barnes says that the board had a meeting recently to get that process started.

 
Dr. Barnes added that the Athletic Directors representing the other schools in the conference have to get together to approve Crystal City’s request. St. Pius, Valle Catholic, Grandview, Herculaneum, Jefferson R-7, and St. Vincent are the other schools in the I-55 Conference.

The Hornets football team is 0-4 so far in 2019.
