(CRYSTAL CITY) The Crystal City football team has had the last month and change to get used to new head coach Dan Fox and work towards a strong 2018 Fall season.

Coach Fox comes to the Hornets after 12 years at Hillsboro serving as the junior high and JV coach as well as varsity assistant head coach during that time. Coach Fox says being a member of a loaded coaching staff that produced other head coaches in the area gives him a blueprint for success.

 
Coach Fox reveals that Crystal City is getting a new weight room which he believes will maximize the team’s potential.

Crystal City begins the season on August 24th at Chaffee and its first home game is September 7th against Principia.
