Crystal City Girls Basketball to Rely on Depth in 2019

(CRYSTAL CITY) The 2018 Class 2 District 4 runner-up Crystal City girls basketball team graduated its top two scorers but return junior Annie Waites, the 3rd leading scorer, and others such as senior Ashleigh Damazyn and senior Reece Elliott.

Ken Jones continues to run the show and talks about those three players and their expected impact.

An incoming freshman that Coach Jones has high remarks for is Kate Eisenbeis.

Eisenbeis is just the beginning of the depth for the Lady Hornets. There is also Marie Null, Brooklyn Portell, Jillian Schubert, Ellie Smith, and Kylee Watters.

Crystal City girls basketball tips off its 2019-2020 season in the Valle Catholic Tournament December 2nd through the 5th. The following week, the Lady Hornets will be the 8th seed in the 22nd Annual Doe Run Classic at Herculaneum High School.
