Crystal City grad to attend Air Force Academy

(Crystal City) A recent Crystal City High School graduate has been appointed to attend the Air Force Academy. Samuel James Smith was one of 19 Missouri students that were selected by Senator Roy Blunt. Smith says it was quite the process, but he certainly looks forward to the Air Force.

Smith says there are over eleven-thousand applicants every year, and only one-thousand are accepted. Smith was the salutatorian in Crystal City’s class of 2020.
