Crystal City Hosting Jefferson Tuesday

(CRYSTAL CITY)    The Crystal City Hornets will host the Jefferson Blue Jays Tuesday afternoon and we’ll be there to broadcast on AM 1400 KJFF and mymoinfo.com.

Crystal City comes into the matchup with a record of 7-9, while Jefferson is 9-8. Hornets Coach Zach Weiss says his team’s pitching has improved.

Weiss says Tuesday’s contest is a big rivalry game that he’s looking forward to.

Meanwhile, Jefferson Assistant Coach Daniel Rothweiller says the Blue Jays batters are doing a better job of controlling the count.

According to Rothweiller the first two matchups with Crystal City have been good battles.
