Crystal City Police Investigating the death of an inmate

(Crystal City) Crystal City Police are reporting the death of an inmate at the city jail.
Crystal City Police Chief Chad Helms says 38-year-old Kimberly Kertz of Pevely was found unresponsive in her cell on the evening of February 9th.
Chief Helms adds an official investigation into the inmate’s death is ongoing.
Kertz had been in jail awaiting to see the municipal judge in court on warrants she was arrested on.
