Crystal City purchasing touchless ticketing system

(Crystal City) The City of Crystal City is planning on purchasing some new equipment that will help keep its law enforcement staff safe from the Covid-19 pandemic. City Administrator Jason Eisenbeis says it’s a touchless ticketing system to help avoid anyone from having to touch a paper ticket when an officer writes a ticket for a traffic offense or something else.
Eisenbeis says they have submitted the purchase information to the county for Cares Act reimbursement. They hope to have the equipment in place soon.
