(CRYSTAL CITY) Crystal City track athlete Emma Shirley has decided to continue her running career at Maryville University.
Emma will be entering her senior year with three All-State finishes in the 200-meter dash and an All-State finish in the 100-meter dash. Before Emma goes to college, she’d like to get top 3 in the 100 and 200 among other things.

At this time, Emma’s personal best 100-time is 12.82 seconds and her best 200-time is 26.33 seconds. Emma got interested in running at an early age.

Emma chose Maryville because of her high level of comfort with the new head coach Vince Bingham.

Emma Shirley will be competing in the 100, 200, and 400-meter dash in her last year at Crystal City.
