Cuba Woman Injured in Crash on I-44 in Crawford County

(Cuba) A woman from Cuba was injured Monday morning in a two vehicle accident in Crawford County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened on I-44 westbound at mile marker 208 near the Cuba exit when a tractor-trailer driven by 42-year-old Abraham Berbretsakik of Houston, Texas was travelling at a slow rate of speed when a Hyundai Elantra driven by 22-year-old Breanna Edgar of Cuba struck the rear of the trailer.

Edgar was moderately injured and had to be taken to Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan for treatment.
