Daughter Speaks after Retired-Cop Father Killed during Looting in St. Louis

(St. Louis) A retired police captain was fatally shot during a looting in St. Louis early Tuesday morning, an incident that was allegedly captured on Facebook Live.

Police says they have identified no suspects in the death of the 77-year-old David Dorn but are offering a ten thousand dollar reward for information leading to an arrest.

Dorn’s daughter Larissa Holmes says her father went to check an alarm that went off in the pawn shop and likely startled whoever was inside.

Holmes says the situation her dad was in just spiraled out of control.

Even though Dorn was a retired police officer, he still worked as a private security officer.
