(HILLSBORO) Day 2 of the 63rd Annual Gene Steighorst Tournament in Hillsboro is Tuesday night on KJFF and KREI. The first game is on both stations with the 2-seed Central Rebels taking on the 7th-seeded Seckman Jaguars. The Jags enter the game at 1-2 and are led by coach Travis Williams.

He’s got a couple of guys for the Rebels to think about.

Central enters the game at 1-1 and led by coach Adam Barton. The Rebels struggled to score in their first loss of the season, falling to Festus 73-49. Coach Barton believes that the key to turning the offense around starts with better shot selection.

Central and Seckman will tip-off at 5:30 on AM 1400 KJFF and AM 800 KREI.

The 2nd game of the night features 3-seed Eureka and 6-seed DeSoto. This will be the first game of the season for the Wildcats and coach Austin Kirby knows his team is jazzed up and ready to go.

The DeSoto Dragons have begun 2018 at 3-2, winning their first three and dropping their last two. Head coach Zeb Hammond expects the Wildcats to come out and put his guards under duress.

Eureka and DeSoto will follow the Central and Seckman match and will be broadcast only on AM 1400 KJFF. The Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show for the Rebels and Jags begins at 5:15, again on KJFF and KREI.
