De Soto Jogger Hit By Vehicle Early This Morning

(De Soto) A De Soto man was injured early this morning while jogging on Fountain City Road, west of Wagon Wheel Lane.
The highway patrol says 27 year old Jacob Shook was jogging west when a vehicle hit him from behind, throwing him off the road.
The vehicle then fled the scene.
Shook was taken to Mercy Hospital south with moderate injuries.
The accident happened just before three o’clock this morning.
