De Soto Man Arrested after posing as law enforcement officer

(De Soto) A De Soto man is behind bars after he allegedly posed as a police officer and tried to pick up an inmate at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro.
31-year-old Chad Goseny is facing a single charge of False Impersonation of a law enforcement officer, which is a class B Misdemeanor.
Sheriff’s office spokesman Grant Bissell says the incident happened in the early morning hours on Thursday.
Upon letting Gosney into the sally port, corrections officers made contact to figure out what was going on.
Gosney is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on a $10-thousand cash only bond.
