De Soto Man Killed in Saturday Morning Motorcycle Crash

(OTTO,MO)    A De Soto man is dead, the result of a motorcycle accident Saturday morning on Old Highway 21 south of Otto in Jefferson County.  The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 30 year old Blake Blackburn was killed when he was southbound on a 2001 Yamaha FZS100 on Old 21 north of Orchard Drive.  The Patrol reports the bike began skidding and travelled of the right side of the roadway.  The bike became airborne and Blackburn was thrown off the bike.  Blackburn was pronounced dead at the scene by Rock Township Ambulance District personnel.  The accident occurred at 8:10am Saturday.
