(De Soto) In-person and virtual classes will resume for students in the De Soto School District later this month.

Superintendent Dr. Josh Isaacson says they’re ready for the second half of the school year.

When asked about his thoughts on the first semester of school, Dr. Isaacson said it was difficult, but it wouldn’t have been able to work without the hard work from students, teachers, and parents.

As of right now, around 85 percent of the student body will be returning for in-person learning at De Soto.

However, that number can fluctuate before the official start of the second semester which is on Wednesday, January 20th.
