De Soto School District to begin new Alternative Education Program

(De Soto) The De Soto School District will offer a new alternative education program this fall for select students.
Ron Farrow is the Assistant Superintendent of De Soto schools. He says the program is going through the district’s Innovative Learning Center.
The new program will also be offered to students in grades K-5.
The board of education approved the program for the next two school years in which the district will spend more than $218-thousand between 2022-23 and roughly 240-thousand between 2023-24.
