Deadline for Personal Property Tax Assessment coming

(Hillsboro) As the tax deadline has come and gone…now is the time to submit your personal property assessment for 2023, if you haven’t done so already. Bob Boyer is the Jefferson County Assessor. He says many residents are taking advantage of filing online.

Boyer says residents also need to make the necessary changes to what they owned at of the start of this year.

The assessment lists must be filled out and returned no later than May 1st to avoid late filing penalties. Those wanting more information or to e-file their list can do so by visiting the Jefferson County Assessors Office page on the county website Jeffco MO dot org.
