Deadly Weekend On Southeast Missouri Roads

(St. Francois County It was a deadly weekend on the roads in southeast Missouri as three people were killed and several others injured in traffic accidents.

The highway patrol says 36 year old Phillip Tanner of Greenville was killed early this morning when his car ran off the road and hit several trees.

A 12 year old child from New Haven was killed Sunday in a traffic accident on Route Y that seriously injured two other people.

31 year old Charley Rolen of Farmington was killed Saturday afternoon when her vehicle crossed the center line on Woodlawn Drive and hit a truck.

Three passengers in the truck sustained minor injuries.

59 year old John Main of St. Charles was seriously injured in an off road vehicle accident at St. Joe State Park when his Honda 450R overturned.

James Silva of Ironton was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday evening on Route N in St. Francois County when he was thrown from his Harley as it ran off the road and overturned.

Finally, Craig Pratt of Frohna was seriously injured on Saturday evening when he lost control of his four wheeler on Perry County Road 620.

He was thrown from the vehicle and then flown to Barnes Jewish Hospital for treatment.
