Denis James “Bucky” Pouliezos of Ste Genevieve died Thursday. He was 93. Denis retired as a Sargeant First Class from the United States Army, having served in both Korean and Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and socializing. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0554 in Bloomsdale.
He is survived by his daughter Georgia McClanahan of Ste Genevieve, nieces Janet Rebstock, Betty Welch and Ruth Ellis; nephews John, Pat, and Gary Ellis.
The funeral service for Denis “Bucky” Pouliezos will be Saturday morning at 11 Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City.
Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
