Dent County Bridge to be Closed Down Starting Tuesday

(Hobson) The Missouri Department of Transportation says a Dent County road will be closed for the next several months for a bridge replacement project.

The Route FF bridge over Norman Creek, located near the Phelps County line, has reached the point where replacement is necessary.

Starting Tuesday, crews will begin removing the existing Norman Creek bridge to replace it with a new box culvert. Route ‘F-F’ will be closed to traffic at the bridge for the duration of the project.

The work is expected to be finished by August 20th. Motorists will need to use alternate routes.
