Dent County Municipal Election Wrap Up

(Dent County, Mo.) Voters cast their ballots today for the Dent County municipal election. Here are the results.

Thomas Case won the race for Alderman in the city of Bunker with 32 votes, James McClanahan came in second with 29 votes and Tricia Rowland had 8.

Moving over to Salem and the East Ward Alderman position went to incumbent Kim Steelman, who took home 120 votes followed by Jerry Gibbs Jr. (78) and Carl Plank (27). Staying in Salem, the West Ward Alderman position went to Greg Parker with 154 votes and Joshua Gordon collecting 110. Three were elected to the Salem R-80 school board, Andrew Wynn got 510 votes, with incumbent Holly Erway earning 425 votes and rounding out the winners Amanda Walker got 277 votes, followed by Michael Pettus (247) and incumbent Larry Maxwell (233).

Four were up for three spots in the Iron County C-4 school board in Viburnum. Incumbent Adam Asher took home the most votes with 155, followed by David Major with 138 and incumbent Steve Pyatt with 126, incumbent Garry Parker had 86 votes. This election crossed over with Crawford and Iron Counties.

Those are the results for the June 2nd General Municipal election in Dent County.
