Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development to Host Equity Web Series

(St. Louis) Groups of students struggle with inequities on college campuses across the country. The impact of COVID-19 has increased that in some circumstances. Alicia Erickson, a research analyst with the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development, explains.
The department, along with STL Graduates, wants to shine light on those inequities and bring some possible ways to help. They are planning a free monthly web series starting on September 24th at noon titled “Missouri Higher Education Equity Bridges to Success”.
The first installment focuses on equity mindedness in the era of COVID-19. To learn more about the series go to the department website at DHEWD.mo.gov.
