Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development to Receive Federal Grant

(Jefferson City) Governor Parson announced today the Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development will receive a new grant from the federal government.

The grant focuses on getting people back to work.

Parson explained that the grant is meant to create jobs that will directly help the COVID-19 response.

The money will be awarded to the department on June 1st and will be available to local workforce development boards 45 days after that.
