(Jefferson County) Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies have been busy tracking down and recovering stolen vehicles from across the county.

According to Grant Bissell with the sheriff’s office, deputies were recently able to recover a stolen vehicle that was found in the 12800 block of State Road CC in Festus.

Bissell adds the victim then called authorities and deputies were able to get the vehicle unstuck and returned back to the owner.

Deputies also recovered another vehicle that was taken from a home on State Route TT, south of Festus.

Another vehicle that was stolen from a residence in the 6300 block of Valerie Circle in Cedar Hill has been recovered. Bissell mentions the vehicle was initially taken around 5 pm on March 21.

According to Bissell, a person of interest has been identified in this case.
