(Desloge) A new national survey that’s been released says nearly 80 percent of the people responding have a new appreciation for small businesses because of COVID-19. Of the two thousand Americans surveyed, 79 percent say they pandemic makes them realize just how important local businesses are to their community. Cheri Henderson is the director of the Desloge Chamber of Commerce.

The poll was commissioned by the graphic design company Canva. It also showed that 71 percent of those responding are actively supporting small businesses over big corporations.
