Desloge Chamber Hosts Meet The Candidates Forum

(Desloge) The Desloge Chamber of Commerce sponsored a Meet the Candidates Forum Tuesday. Six of the seven candidates running for the North County School Board of Education were in attendance to answer questions ranging from why they decided to run for the board to how they would support the district if they would lose the election. The day started with a presentation from North County School Superintendent Doctor Jeff Levy about the upcoming no tax increase bond issue that will be on the April ballot. Levy told those in attendance that it would address three major factors, safety, security and accessibility.

Adam Froidl, Alan Gremminger, Stacey Kay, Jake Long, Julie Pratte and Stacy Tiefenauer Wilfong were all at the forum. A seventh candidate, Dave Bahr, was unable to attend because of a work conflict. You can listen to the candidates forum by clicking on the link below.
