Desloge driver sued by father of Bonne Terre crash victim

A Desloge man who has already been charged with a felony DWI is being sued for his involvement in the death of a Bonne Terre passenger.

A wrongful death civil suit was filed in St. Francois County court Monday by the attorney of Chad Rasnic, whose son, 21-year-old Ian Rasnic, was killed after being thrown from a vehicle during a crash Saturday night.

The suit alleges 23-year-old Bradley Judge was driving too fast on Vo-Tech Road, which caused him to lose control of his Chevy Silverado and overturned the vehicle, ejecting Ian Rasnic.

Chad Rasnic is seeking relief from damages as a result of Judge’s alleged carelessness and negligence.

Judge made bail after being detained on the charge of felony driving while intoxicated in the death of another.
