Desloge photographer enters plea deal for child molestation charges, faces 50 years in prison
A Desloge photographer is headed to prison for molesting a 12-year-old girl.
66-year-old Daniel Irwin Irwin entered into a plea deal Monday in St. Francois County court after he was charged with second-degree child molestation for incidents in January 2017 when Irwin touched a 12-year-old girl in inappropriate places at a Super 8 Motel.
Irwin had already been found guilty last year on 5 counts of child molestation for his behavior with a minor at his photo studio, Artistic Images.
Irwin entered into an Alford plea Monday, meaning he didn’t admit guilt but conceded he would be found guilty by a jury due to prosecution evidence.
Irwin’s plea means his 10-year prison sentence will run concurrent with his other sentences, which total to 50 years behind bars.
