Desloge Police Department to get New Body Cameras

(Desloge) Body cameras will be getting an upgrade at the Desloge Police Department.
The Desloge City Council approved the purchase during their meeting last week.
That’s according to City Administrator Dan Bryan.
A set of spike strips was also purchased for the police department.
The Desloge City Council also approved a purchase and that’s for a company to clean a 130-foot tall object in town.
In other news from the Desloge City Council meeting, a skid steer and trailer was approved for purchase.
Bryan says the skid steer will be used on various projects in town.
Also, a request to keep a bovine cow and calf in Desloge was denied by the city council.
