Desloge Residents Adjust to Lifestyle Change because of Pandemic
(Desloge) Those who live in cities and towns are changing their habits because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Businesses have also had to make changes from closing altogether or by adding more safety to their workplace to hopefully prevent the spread of the virus.
Here’s Desloge City Administrator Dan Bryan.
Just because city parks in Desloge are closed right now, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the outdoors as long as you practice social distancing.
According to the St. Francois County Health Center, there are 23 confirmed Covid-19 cases in the county.
16 are female and 6 male. 16 people have recovered with 6 needing hospitalization and there’s been one death in the county.
There are four cases each in the 30 to 39, 50 to 59 and 60 to 59 age groups.
There are 3 cases each in the 20 to 29, 40 to 49 and 70 and over age groups.
There is also one confirmed case in St. Francois County for those under 20.
As for locations of those who have confirmed cases….the Farmington area or 63640 area code has 11 cases, the Bonne Terre area or 63628 area code has 6 cases, there are four confirmed cases in the 63601 area code which encompasses the Desloge, Park Hills, Leadington, Frankclay, Leadwood and Wortham areas.
And for the 63036 area code in the French Village area, there is one confirmed case.
