(Jefferson City) A 40-foot Christmas tree has been placed on the Missouri Governor’s Mansion lawn in Jefferson City and will remain there for the holidays.
The Norway spruce was donated by Doris Baker of Desloge.
The annual lighting of the mansion lawn tree will be Friday night at 6, followed by the traditional candlelight tours.
The tours will run until 8 Friday night and again Monday the 7th through Wednesday the 9th from 6 until 8.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tours will be by reservation only.
