(POTOSI, Mo.) – It’s a matchup of two teams with a 4-4 record on the year as the Desoto Dragons football team visits the Potosi Trojans Friday on J-98.

On the side of Potosi, they come in riding a high after a 14-6 win versus North County a week ago to push their record back to five hundred.

Trojans coach Ed Haar thought they did plenty of things well last Friday.

For Desoto, it was an opposite feeling after a 42-7 home loss against Ste. Genevieve. The Dragons have now lost two in a row after going on a four game winning streak.

Dragons coach Chris Johnson says nothing but full effort is acceptable.

These are two teams that have fairly opposite approaches to how they run their offenses, with Potosi heavily relying on the run and Desoto airing the ball out a lot thanks to star quarterback Briar Fischer.

Coach Haar comments on the attack from the Dragons.

And Coach Johnson for Desoto says playing against Potosi is essentially a game of ball control.

Coverage of the football game between the Desoto Dragons and the Potosi Trojans begins Friday with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show at 6.

Kickoff will follow at 7 on J-98.
