DeSoto District Champion Wrestler Jaycee Foeller Earns Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Athlete of the Week Award

(DESOTO) DeSoto female wrestler Jaycee Foeller is the latest Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play It Forward Athlete of the Week.

Jaycee competed in the Inaugural MSHSAA Girls Wrestling District Tournament over the weekend, cruising to a district championship in the 167 lb weight division. DeSoto head coach John Brown talks about just how well Jaycee dominated her bracket.

 
Jaycee officially won each match by Fall in the first period. Her times were 15 seconds, 13 seconds, 1:27 seconds, and in the district final, 1:06 seconds. Coach Brown discusses what it’s like to witness Jaycee in action.

 
Jaycee Foeller will carry a 36-0 record into the girls’ state wrestling championships as well as the number one state ranking. The championships will be on from the 15th to the 17th at Mizzou Arena in Columbia. As part of being named Athlete of the Week, Jaycee will receive a t-shirt, a certificate and the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy will donate 25-dollars to a non-profit of her choice.
