DeSoto finishing up work on water feature

(DeSoto) The City of DeSoto is finishing up work on a new water park structure at the North Sports Complex on Vineland Road. DeSoto City Manager Todd Melkus says this structure will be much different from a typical splash pad some other cities have.

The cost for the project is over 560 thousand dollars. Melkus says they hope to have it completed and ready to open over the Memorial Day weekend.
