DeSoto Girls Basketball Taking Turn for the Better

(DESOTO) The DeSoto Dragons girls basketball team is picking up steam as they have won 3 of their last 4 games and have improved their record on the season to 4-9. The Lady Dragons recently participated in the Kingston/West County Christmas Tournament and went 3-1 with a 5th place finish out of 12 teams.

After a 1-8 start to the season, head coach Sam Rauls sees the confidence building in his players.

Coach Rauls has seen senior Maddie Young grow up a bit this season.

Then there is the matter of rebounding that Coach Rauls believes is making a true difference in more positive results.

The DeSoto Dragons are taking on Pacific at home tonight at 7 and will have the weekend off before hosting St. Pius on Monday night at 7.
