DeSoto Girls Cross Country Coach Aaron Young Wins Coach of the Year

(DESOTO) After his DeSoto girls cross country team finished 4th at state this year, the team’s highest ever finish in program history, 5th-year head coach Aaron Young was voted by his fellow coaches as the Regional Radio Fall 2018 Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year!

It is Young’s 1st such award since Girls Cross Country was introduced to the Dream Team back in 2007. He is very grateful to his peers for picking him for this award.

 
Coach Young says it still hasn’t truly sunk in what his girls were able to pull off this year in getting 4th at state.
