(DESOTO) DeSoto girls basketball player Kendall Boyer has pulled off a rare feat in Dragons history by scoring a thousand career points and grabbing a thousand career rebounds. Kendall achieved the scoring mark in a game against Festus on February 4th and shares with us the special moment.

Kendall got a green-and-white game ball and a little something else she didn’t know she was getting.

The assist on Kendall’s 1,000th point came from her good friend Rose Thomas. When asked who was more elated between them, Kendall had this to say.

After reaching a thousand career points, Kendall Boyer got her 1,000th rebound during a 61-42 DeSoto win over Medicine and Bioscience on Thursday.

Kendall Boyer and DeSoto will now get ready for the first round of the Class 4 District 2 tournament next Saturday, the 23rd against North County.
