DeSoto Girls Soccer Enters 2019 Season with Athleticism as Best Feature

(DESOTO) The DeSoto girls soccer team is looking to turnaround a 3-15 2018 campaign with the help of some old and new faces this season.

For the first time in seven years for girls soccer at DeSoto, the Dragons have added a foreign exchange student to the mix. Her name is Cristina Miret and head coach Nate Reiser compares her to junior midfielder Amy Reiser.

 
Coach Reiser also introduces to us Emily Smith, over from basketball, and her back-line partner.

 
In at goalkeeper for the Dragons in 2019 will be sophomore Abby Pope, who had two shutouts last year. The DeSoto girls soccer season will officially kick off Monday at Farmington at 6:30 p.m.
